Leaving Mince Pies - Polkadoodles

 Hi everyone! 

Are you ready to get organised for the Big 'C' -I read a post on Facebook recently that said it's only  16 weeks until Christmas! that is crazy! where has the time gone, haven't we only just had Christmas! I remember a time when everything was so slow and you were just waiting for the time to tick away! 

Anyway here I am starting to get organised - I have created a clean and simple Christmas card using the image 'Leaving Mince Pies' from the Winnie White Christmas Collection for this weeks Digi Chooseday Challenge 

The image is digital and has been printed and then coloured with Promarkers. I have added the sentiment which you can purchase from the Winnie White Christmas Big Kahuna Download set. To complete I used a star stencilled in the corner with berry red Distress ink and flicked some metallic red water colour paint. masking off the main image.

Blessings - Polkadoodles

 Hi Everyone!

So i have recently been asked to design for Polkadooles for their Create and Craft TV show -(WHATTT!)

 I mean, what an honour and totally shocked! 

So one show was on last week and it was a glorious show with plenty of crafty goodness to be bought and an extremely low price! The bundle had 14 Stamp sets (with more than 1 stamp in each set) worth £129 down to £58 - I mean I have been crafting for years and you would never have that many stamps for that price, and a perfect array of choices or you could buy items separately! you can find the bundle   here

Anyway the second set sold out but you can still get some of the items singly and below is a card that I created using 'Blessings' From the Winnie Heavenly range - Gorgeous stamp! 

The image has been stamped with Momento Ink and coloured with the lightest of Promarker Pink/ grey and ivory colours. Then Die cut with a scalloped oval frame

I have also used some of Polkadoodles printable backing papers for the background and mounted on Silver Card.

I then added some pink lace some pearls and a die cut Snowflake for Polkadoodles 

I used Pigment ink to stamp the sentiment from Polkadooldes Merry and Bright Clear stamp set

Kaya and Bugsy - DDS

 Hi everyone! 

Sharing today a new release image from Digi Doodle Studio

'Kaya and Bugsy'

The Image has been coloured with Promarkers and Fussy Cut. 

I have Die cut some circles and coloured with Promarkers also. 

The background has been created suing a leaf stencil and some Tim Holts Distress ink. 'Shabby Shutters' and 'Worn Lipstick'

The sentiment was stamped with some pigment ink and die cut. 

Finally I die cut some Zen stones and distressed with Tim Holtz - Pumice stone distress ink added some twine and clear drops.

Winnie Fairy Plant Pot - Polkadoodles

 Hi everyone!

Today I have made a flower shaped card that fits perfectly with the Winnie Daisy Fairies from Polkadoodles

I have used Flower Fairy Plant Pot - coloured with Promarkers and then Fussy Cut. I have die cut flower shape backing papers from Serenity Fairy Wishes Paper Heaven 3 and Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Paper Heaven 7 . The edges have been distressed with Tim HOltz Victorian Velvet.  I have added some die cut lace effect border some twine and paper flowers. To complete I added a sentiment from Work & Play 10 Embellies

Skipping Girl - ADU

 Hi Everyone! 

Sharing inspiration today using the image Skipping Girl from All Dressed Up

The digital Image has been set in a scene coloured by me with promarkers.

I have die cut a square from a free spring backing paper from Cardmaking and Papercrafting and added to the backing paper some die cut clouds - which have been slightly distressed with 'Victorian Velvet' - some lace, yellow satin ribbon and a die cut rainbow and sun.

Completing the card I have added a stamped sentiment using pink pigment ink.

Relaxing - Polkadoodles

 Hi everyone! 

A new challenge has begun over at Digi Choose Day! 

My Inspiration for this Challenge I am sharing the image Relaxing Sunlounger - which has been coloured with Promarkers. 

The backing papers have been taken from 'Envys', Winnie Sunshine Delights and Rainbow Paper. To complete I added a sun glasses die cut and the sentiment from Winnie Special Moments.

The sentiment is Form Mama Elephant 

and to complete the card i added some hessian ribbon , hessian bow and a tack.

Hi Everyone!

There has been a new release over at Digi Doodle Studio - Prefect Summertime images! 

Here is one 'Petey'. My son just loves to learn and talk about sea life and Sharks/whales are his Favourite! 

So this was the perfect image for his birthday card! 

The image has been coloured with Promarkers and I have die cut backing papers from the Digi Doodle Studios 'Tangerine butterfly Birthday Girl paper pack' 

the sentiment was created in Word and the Circular Sentiment is from LOTV. (Lili of the Valley).

 To complete I added some acrylic gems.

 Hi Everyone!

A new Challenge has begun over at Digi Choose day today 

As a DT we were given the topic 'Landscape' 

So here is my creation using the images 'Bearing Gifts' and 'Dinosaur 2' and 'Dinosaur 6' from the Sticks and Bones range at Polkadoodles 

The images were cut and pated into word and wrapped to create the landscape scene - The entire scene has been coloured with Promarkers and nuvo Markers

I have used 3 different backing papers and die cut some palm trees and a hut out of Kraft card.

I added some twine and gems/pearls and a sentiment from LOTV to complete.

New Challenge over at Digi Choose Day with Polkadoodles 

For my Forever Friend card I have used the image 'Sleepy Pots' from the Horace and Boo collection, coloured with Promarkers. the papers are from Nikki and Gamer Little Dudes. The sentiments are from Winnie Daisy Greetings and Sparke Unicorn - Sentiments . to complete the card I added some paper flowers, some button and twine, a peg and some mini pearls.

Beach Time - ADU

Hi everyone! 

Sharing today my first DT inspiration for All Dressed Up (ADU) 

so honoured to be part of this team.

The theme for this weeks facebook Challeneg was 'Holidays' and I chose Summer Holiday

using the digital image 'Beach Time' 

Once the image had been printed out on y lazer printer I coloured it up with Promarkers

I then die cut a frame and added to the top of the image. 

I have used several digital backing papers from Tangerine Butterfly Birthday Girl found at Digi Doodle Studio, backing onto Pink Card. 

I then completed the card bu adding a few Di cut embelishments, Glasses, Beach Sign and Aloha.

Hi Everyone!

A new Challenge has begun today over at Digi Doodle Studio Challenge Blog wit the theme 

'3 or more layers' 

Here is My DT inspiration using the image 'Siena Photographer' and the Digi Paper Pack Tangerine Butterfly Birthday Girl 

The image has been coloured with Promarkers 

I have printed out several of the digi papers from the pack above and used Square and Circle dies to create the layers. 

I have also die cut a polaroid and a film and the smile sentiment. 

Use a white ink to stamp the best wishes and added an acrylic gem to complete

With Sympathy Sunflower Fairy - SNS

Hi everyone! 

Todays share is a Sympathy card I coloured using the digital images 'Sunflower Fairy', and scene builders images from Sweet November Stamps 

The scene has been put together in a Word document by Wrapping the images and then overlaying. Then after printing I coloured the images with the Cool, Ice and Warm Promarker sets. I used a white gel pen to add the sparkle effect to the wings. 

I then mounted the image onto white card and placed on a black and white flower backing paper on a    6 x 4 card
