Catarina Pussycat - DDS

 Hi everyone!

Sharing today a card made using the image 'Catarina Pussycat' from Digi Doodle Studios 

I am not one for using to much of the Holloween/Autum inspired colours or themes, but this year it has really grasp my attention and i am loving the greens/brown/ and as you can see by this image the oranges/ yellows and reds and the dramatic contrast with the black. 

I have used Nuvo markers to colour the image and the background, which I drew free hand. 

The nuvo markers do come in sets of 3 which is great for blending, however some of the best matching colours do come indifferent sets so the markers only really work when you have the full set. 

The glitter on the dress is done by using a darker shade or purple, black and white pens and creating dots. 

I then used some Polkadoodles downloadable/ printable backing papers and some black and orange ribbon

I heat embossed the sentiment from T4TD Ter-riffic set with WOW Bright White. Little tip with heat embossing, use a brush and some talked powder to brush over the top before you emboss so that the powder only sticks to the embossed area.  

Finally I added some Back pearls

Señorita - PND

 Hi everyone!

Sharing today a Spanish inspired Birthday Card - using the image 'Señorita Ellie'

The image has been coloured with Promarkers. 

I have die cut and backed the paper onto black card. I have added some lage black lace with a gold pice of ribbon on top.

I the placed on some paper flowers, berries, sequins and gems. 

Finally i created the sentiment in word and die cut with a banner die.

Owl You Need is Love - AB

 Hi everyone! 

Sharing  today my card using the image 'Owl you need is Love' from Alicia Bell

I used this image to create a Steampunk effect card! 

the image has been coloured with Nuvo Markers and fussy cut.

I have used some steem punk backing papers and used some cog dies on brown and gold card. 

I have also created a glitter element with a clock face die. I die cut a circle out of green Olive card. I then die cut the clock face out of brown card and glued it onto a piece of acetate. I then placed some glitter and sequins on to the green card and then glued the clock on top. This is not so much a shaker card but a glitter element on the card. 

Finally I added the sentiment from 'Your Owlsome' set from Time for Tea Designs and some brown and gold Gems and Pearls.

Opal - DDS

 Hi Everyone! 

There are some new digi's over at Digi Doodle Studio - gorgeous Autumn inspired images.  

Here is Opal one of the lovely images

The image has been coloured with Promarkers and die cut. I have then die cut some vellum to create the scalloped frame around the image. 

I have used some tree and hedge dies from Time from tea to create the nature background the edges had been slightly distressed to give dimension

The tags are from Lili of the Valley and have been coloured with Promarkers and also distressed before fussy cutting. 

Finally i just added some paper flowers and some mini pearl gems.

Chibi Angel Globe - SD

 Hi Everyone!

There is a new Chibi image released over at Stampers Delights today and here it is 'Chibi Angel Globe'

Here is My DT Inspiration 

 

To begin I took a 6x6 card blank and cut the scalloped edge using my Cricut machine. I then used the same scalloped cut on a piece of brown and white card and made the whiter a bit smaller it a bit smaller. I then used a circular die cut to cut the piece of Pink Christmas backing paper.  

Before gluing the Card down tape the edges of the ribbon to the back of the card make sure it is tight so that it is stable on the front card I then added mini pearls to the white scalloped points. 

I then coloured the image with Promarkers and fussy Cut, I then used foam pads to raise the image from the backing paper. To complete I added some gold sparkle to the stars

Sweet Angel - SD

 Hi Everyone!

New Anime release today over at Stampers Delights 

Here is the gorgeous 'Sweet Angel' 

For this gorgeous image I kept things really simple! I coloured the image in with Promarkers, making use of the blender to soften the colour edges. 

The 'With Sympathy sentiment has been printed out on Vellum. I have cut the strip long enough to fold around the back of the black backing card, and taped tight, I then didn't need to use glue on the front of the card, as this would have shown through. 

Finally I added a few black gems and added to a 6x4 card.

Cinderella Pin Up - AB

 Hi everyone! 

Popping on quickly today to show you a card I made using the the image 'Cinderella Pin Up' from Alicia Bell, coloured with Tonic Studios Nuvo Markers

It may be going into Autumn, but I went full bright to cheer myself up :) 

The image was printed out on a laser printer, and the n coloured with Nuvo Markers.

 I die cut the backing paper and added some lace. I then die cut the roses paper and Backed it with white card. 

The shoe die is from Tattered lace and the castle is from Cut & Make, which has been distressed with Tim Holtz Vintage photo. 

the sentiment is from Honney Doo, and I fussy cut after stamping with Momento Ink. 

To complete I added some pink gems.

Java Jada - DDS

 Hi everyone!

A new Challenge has begun over at Digi Doodle Studio and this month theme is 

Shaped/Shaker Card or Gift Box/Bag

This is My DT inspiration using the Image Java Jada which I have created into a shaker Card! 

The first thing I did was cut out the square shapes on the Cricut machine. I also cut the sentiment and the beans out on one of the squares using my Cricut Machine. 

I then used some Tim Holts distress inks to colour up both square. I also splattered the square with a darker brown ink and also white acrylic paint. 

Once both were dry I added some clear acetate to the underneath of the square with the cut  out bean and sentiment and then around the inside edge added a double thickness of foam tape. I then places in the sequin mix to the bottom square. I  placed the foamed square on top of the bottom square and left to dry. Creating the shaker element. 

I then coloured the Digi doodle Studio image with Promarkers and Fussy cut. I glued to the shaker element. Remember to add the foam to the overhang of the image or this will bend once placed on to the base of the card. 

For the base of the card i assed some backing paper and some brown lace - I then added the shaker element and finally the cut out Kettle/Pot shape.
