Jenny Poolside - DDS

 Hi everyone! 

Sharing with you a card made with the image 'Jenny Poolside' from Digi Doodle Studio

This year or 16 months i think has been tough and i know as the summer holidays loom in the UK there are many who would have gone on some beautiful holidays, and now they can't. So this card is for them... to say that one day we will be back to those tropical beaches, enjoying an evening stroll on the beach.

The image has been coloured with Nuvo Pens and for the sky I have used a cloud stencil  form T4TD and Tim Holtz Picket Fence.

The drinks dies are from Tattered lace - one of the Advent calendars and the flip flops were cut out on my Cricut machine. to complete i added a sentiment created in Word, and some Blue gems.

Cherry Steampunk Fairy - SB

 Hi Everyone!

Sherri Baldy has some new images out and they are these adorable 

'Cherry Steampunk Fairies'

I have used No 14 and coloured the image with Promarkers

I used a ture track embossing folder on a brown piece of card and then dusted with Gold powder and then splattered with white paint. .

while that was drying i die cut all the nuts/bolts and cogs, from several die cutting sets. 

I used some Newspaper backing paper and added some lace and twine, with the Key and love charms added to the twin, to the dried brown Tyre Track piece of card.

I then added some of the die cut cogs, adhered the image and added the reminder of the cogs and nuts. Finally i added a bronze button, and some gems to complete.

To complete I added some mini pearls, and a die cut cup.

Have Fun in the Sun - TPS

 Hi everyone! 

This is my last post as part of Penny's Paper- Crafty Challenge! 

It has been super fun on this team, and had a wonderful array or images to use, but time has come to step down. I will miss the great team but I know that the team will continue to inspire many crafters for many years to come. 

So for my last card I have used the image 'Fun in the Sun' from The Paper Shelter. 

The image has been coloured with Promarkers, I used the sunburst stencil from T4TD and my markers to create the background. 

The Glasses and the parasol have been cut from my Cricut machine, and the ice cream and drink are from Tattered lace die cutters. 

I have added a bit of clear gloss to the drinks glass, and the girls glasses for a bit of dimension, and also some sparkle - using Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pens, on the glasses. 

to complete i added some die cut banners and some acrylic gems. 

I just cant wait for a lovely summer like this card!

I have used Kraft paper to create a sort of Polaroid frame for the image, using my craft knife and metal rule. 

I have used some Printed backing paper from Polkadoodles

and added some Hessian ribbon. 

The sentiments are from several Clearly Besotted stamp sets.

Lil Bookworm Fairy- CCK

 Hi everyone!

So today is my last DT inspiration for the challenge at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends!

It has been super fun being on the team for 2 plus years, but work and time and family has dictated that it is time to re-prioritise.  

So ere is my last card using the image Lil Bookworm Fairy from Ching Chou Kuik

Such a beautiful image which has been coloured with Promarkers. 

I have used papers form the Simply Gorjuss 6x6 paper pack 

The sentiment is fro LOTV (Lili of the Valley) 

To complete i added some sparkle to the fairys wings and some clear drops to the card.

Chibi Smile - SD

 Hi Everyone!

Sharing today my first Chibi Card as a GDT for Stampers Delights

Chibi Smile

which you can get as a Digi or Clear Stamps .

The image has been coloured with Promarkers 

Skin: Coral, Vanilla, Blush, Pastel Pink
Hair: Burnt Sienna, Sunflower, Buttercup, Vanilla
Shirt/ Socks: Cool Grey 2/1
Tie: Pastel Blue, Cornflower, China blue
Skirt/shoes: Carmine, Salmon Pink, Patel Pink

 Headphones:Cool Grey 5/4/3 

I then used My cricut to cut out some Speakers and a headphone and phone - which I coloured with Promarkers and added some Spectrum Noire Clear sparkles. 

I also Die cut some Musical notes to match the stamp set. 

The papers have been die cut with a stitched Square 5.7 x 5.7 and 4.5 x 4.5 and 

a rectangle 4 x 5. 

I also die cut the sentiment with a circular stitched die cutter. 

Finally I added some twine to the cut headphones to complete.

Anime Believe In Yourself - SD

Hi Everyone!  

Happy to be sharing today My first GDT card for Stampers Delights, using the new to store image 

Anime Believe In Yourself

     

The image has been coloured with Promarkers,

Shirt: Cool Grey 1,2,4, Salmon and Cocktail Pink 

Skirt: Salmon Pink, Cocktail Pink, Pastel Pink, 

Tie: Coll Grey 3/2/1 

Skin: soft peach, Oatmeal, Blush, Pastel Pink 

Hair: Walnut, Chestnut, Henna, Umber

For the skirt i made sure to use a light grey to create the shadows of the skirl before adding the lines for the check. - a tip to make it a bit realistic is to not make the lines straight, as they would wobble in relation to the material

I also used the circles in the background of the image. to overlap the hair from the die cut, I cut that section of hair our from the card and slipped the die cutter underneath, with the hair on top, before cutting the rectangle. I then distressed with Tim Holts distress ink Sun Sugar and Black Soot.

The sentiment has been stamped out and di cut with a large banner die. I then added a little button and twine embellishment. 

The papers have been taken from  Echo Park, 'I'd Rather Be Crafting' and a  Black and White paper pack
