Snowman Hugs - DDS

 Hi everyone! 

So today I am sharing a DT card for Digi Doodle Studio, using the image 'Snowman hugs' 

Christmas will be different for so many of us this year, the pandemic has changed a lot and you may not be able to give everyone  you want a hug, but this image is great to send to remind those that we love that we would hug them if we could. 

The image has been coloured with ProMarkers.

The paper have been taken from several paper packs, Inc.. Daisy and Dandelion Christmas paper pack. Finally i completed with some die cut trees, snowman, and Happy New Year from the Tattered Lace Advent calendars from previous years!

Christmas Garden Party

 Good Morning Everyone!

Damita Elf on Shelf - DDS

 Hi Everyone! 

Today I am sharing my DT inspiration for Digi Doodle Studio, 

Using the image Damita Elf on the Shelf

She has been coloured with Promarkers, and I have used several left over pieces of papers to create this no traditional coloured card. 

The sentiment is from Polkadooles Gnome Stamps and so are the tick and brush elements. The mini Merry Christmas is from  a Tattered Lace Advent Calendar. I also added some lace from the rose Papermania Capsule Collection and to completed the card added a glittery Santa sleigh passing by to collect the elf's report! 

We don't have a naughty elf in our house so we must be super good! lol

so keep a look out for your Elf watching you!

Painter Girl - LeAnns World 101

 Good Morning everyone! 

I cant believe that this is the last challenge of the year over at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 

And tis Challenge will run for 4 weeks over Christmas.

For my DT inspiration I have used Painter Girl from Leanne's World 101

The image has been coloured with Promarkers. for the background i have used a square piece of textured card and have splattered it with distress inks - I have also stamped a few splodge marks and added some glitter for a bit of sparkle. 

I die cut a square frame to place on top of the art and added some black gems as nail tops. The running paint and the happy Birthday sentiment are die cuts that have been coloured with distress inks.

The small art elements are form Time for Tae Designs

All the Reindeer in a Row - LOTV

Today I have coloured an image from Lili of the Valley - LOTV

Three Little Reindeer

I used the png image In word and repeated the image to be able to create this Slimline card. 

The entire card has been coloured with Promarkers

and glitter has been added to the stars and snow for a bit of sparkle. 

The Scalloped Slimline Die is from Time for Tea Designs.

Here is my DT inspiration using Karaoke Claus from Dr Digi! 

The image has been coloured with Promarkers, and I have used a white gel pen to create the sparkle effect on Santa's outfit! 

I have used papers from Several Christmas Packs - Papermania Boofle Christmas and Xmas paper from Far Far Hills

the Santa hat is a die from Tattered lace which i have cut out of Red glitter paper. and added some while 3D acrylic paint

Christmas Grace - DDS

 Hi Everyone! 

Here today with my DT inspiration for Digi Doodle Studio

I am using the image Christmas Grace 

The image has been coloured with Promarkers and a bit of white gel pen for finer details. 

the papers have been taken from First edition - Winter Wishes.

I have die cut 2 size snowflakes and placed behind the smaller square as a border. 

I have also stitched with metallic thread around the image for a bit of sparkle. 

The robin and the Merry Christmas are from Tattered Lace  and I have die cut sever times and glued on top of each other for dimension.

Finally i added some Snowflake embellishments to complete.

Cute Christmas Critters - Polkadoodles

 Hi Everyone!

So today I have created this Christmas home scene using some Cute Critters and a Tree digital image from Polkadooles 

This has been created using the .png images in word. This is super easy

1. Cut and paste the image into word

2. right click on the image and select Wrap Text and then select Through. This means that you can then move the image around and even have them go through/ in front/ behind another image. 

Simple as that. 

The scene was then created using Promarkers

I always set the scene out with a light colour to begin and then build the colour on top of that. 

I also start with the background - Just in case I make a mistake I can start again

Xmas Happy Elf - SD

Hi everyone! 

Using a digital image from Stampers Delights today, which is part of their Progressive challenge image - Follow their fakebook face for more info and to join in the challenge  - HERE

These cute elf have been coloured with ProMarkers and fussy cut.

I distressed the base of the Slimline card with Blending Brushes and Tim Holtz Distress inks - Aged Mahogany, Candied Apple, mustard seed, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn 

I then die cut a Thin Lined Slimline die in white card - I glued to the back of that die cut a piece of acetate and timed to fit. I used Double layer of foam tape all around the edge of the die cut, on the acetate side, to give the diminution. I then used a bit of baby powder on a brush to remove the static from the acetate.

I placed the sequins, snow and glitter on the base of the card and then glued the Dice cut section on top of the card and the shaker elements. 

Finally I glued on the elf's, sentiment and the acrylic gems to complete.

Colour of Love- Rory

 Hi everyone!

Here is my DT Inspiration using the image Rory's Autumn Days - colour in a Christmas theme.

I de cut the Circular Holly 3 times from 2 different blue cards and a white - adding some glitter and gems and a bow to the image. 

Finally I added some die cut holly leaves, some glitter berries, gems and the sentiments.

Poinsettia Lantern - Fred She Said

 Hi everyone!

A new challenge has begun over at Pennys Paper Crafty Challenge and i hope you will join us this Challenge to win some prizes from two supper sponsors. 

I decided to use the Christmas Poinsettia Lantern from Fred She Said as my DT inspiration. 

This is such a gorgeous image, and you can have it pre-coloured, but I decided to colour mine with my trusty Promarkers.  I also added a slight glow and  vintage distress to the image using Tim Holtz Distress inks - Expresso and Vintage photo, Scattered Straw. I also added some Gloss to the glass of the lantern. 

I used paper from Papermanias Christmas Tidings, and Vintage Christmas and a Green doily from Dovecrafts Glad Tidings. 

I then added some paper flowers, berries, a charm and the sentiment, from Lili of the Valley to complete.

Buying the Tree - Polkadoodles

 Hi everyone! 

 I have been having a lovely play with my Promarkers and decided to colour up this gorgeous image from Polkadoodles  - Buying the Tree 

So the image has been coloured with Promarkers.

The papers are also from Polkadoodles using Winnie White Winter paper pack 1 & 2

I also die cut some snowflakes to make the top and bottom border to the image. All the edges have been distressed with Silver pigment ink.

The sentiment is from Lil of the Valley and been Silver heat embossed. 

Finally I added the gems to complete.

Christmas Hair - KS

Hey everyone! 

So today i have card made using the image from Krista Smith from the former Saturated Canary  caller Xmas Hair.

She is supper adorable, and i have always loved colouring Krista's Images

The Image has been printed on Bright White Smooth card from Limetree Crafts and coloured with Promarkers
I used circular dies to die cut a 6x6 red card, and the cream design paper.
I alos die cut the scalloped ovals, the holly leaves, and the Christmas baubles - these have also been embossed and gold dusted over it but it is hard to see! 

I bunched up a bit of netting and used double sided sticky tape to hold it down. and then i placed the red gingham ribbon over the top, folding it over the card and sticking with tape on the back to stop fraying.

Finnaly i just added the flowers, berries, and the sentiment.

Wobby Rudy - LeAnn's Word

 Hi everyone!

A new challenge has begun over at Lil Patch of Carfty Friends, and our Sponsor this month is LeAnn's World.

Here is my DT inspiration using the image Rudy

So Rudy has been printed out 6 times, 3 full images has been coloured and 3 heads of the others have been coloured with Promarkers and the fussy cut. 

The background of the card has been distressed with Tim Holtz distress ink - Fire Brick and then another layer has been done on top using a brick stencil. 

I then added some wood effect paper and used a black maker pen to add in the nail dots and door handles. 

I glued the 3 full Rudy's down and the placed and action wobbler on top then adding the coloured face on top making him wobble 

Finally I added the sentiment and some red gems.

Knobby Knees Candy Cane - Bugaboo

 Hey everyone! 

A ne Challenge has begun over at Penny's and here is my DT inspiration using the image Knobby Knees Candy Cane from one of our Sponsors Bugaboo

For my card I have coloured the image with Promarkers and die cut - then i distressed the edges with Distress ink - Black Soot

the backing paper is from Papermanias Boofle Christmas paper pack. I added white die cut border to the wood effect paper and added some black dots with a black gel pen. 

I die cut a large tag and again distressed it slightly! 

I then added some buttons, and twine to the Tag, and finally the sentiment from Lili of the Valley ( Again coloured with Promarkers and distressed slightly.

 Hi everyone! 

So todays share isa DT inspiration for Digi Doodle Studio using the image  Baelen Elf & Pekington Penguin 

I think this Image/Card is perfect for my boy this Christmas. 

This Digi has been coloure with Promarkers - I though the elf would probably be sitting in the stables with the Reindeer as a penguin wobbled in for a warming cuddle! 

The papers have been taken from a variety of packs and the sentiment has been heat embossed with WOW Bright White using Sentiments from Time for Tea Designs.

Antoni Gnome - DDS

 Hi everyone! 

So I have a new blog! 

My Wix blog was giving me so much trouble I decided to take the plunge. I had been thinking about changing for a while and now here I am.

My little boy chose the pink because as he said " You love Pink and sparkly mummy" and that is totally true! 

So on with the share for today! I have created a Christmas card using one of the New Images released by Digi Doodle Studio - Antoni Coffee Gnome

The digital image has been coloured with Promarkes and then fussy cut. 

I have die cut a circle die and used a landscape die to cut the hill. On the top I have distressed it light blue and on the bottom I have distressed it light green and added sparkles. The house, snowflakes and the trees have been stamped from Hello Bluebird Snowmen stamp set. 

The outer rim of the circle has been die cut several times and layered up for dimension. 

The stamped sentiments are form docrafts Festive Time Sentiment stamp set 

Finally i completed the card by adding acrylic and pearl gems.
