Theo Penguin - Sleigh Ride' - Polkadoodles

 Hi everyone! 

Todays Inspiration for the new Digi Choose Day Challange I am using the image Theo Penguin 'Sleigh Time'.

 I coloured the image with Nuvo Markers and then fussy cut around the top part of the image leaving a slope at the bottom half. I then die cut a square from the Snow backing paper taken from the Theo Penguin Paper Bundle 3 Pack. Using foam pads I added the penguins over the snow backing paper. The happy Holidays sentiment is taken from the Theo Penguin - Greetings/Sentiment pack and  I have  uploaded it onto my Cricut to cut it out.

December Birthday - Polkadoodles

 Catrin - HI Everyone!

New Challenge over at Digichoose day with Polkadoodles. 

For todays card we were tasked to create a December Birthday Boy card.

I have used this adorable Gnome and snowman image from the 'Gnomeazing Christmas Stamp set' and coloured with Promarkers before fussy cutting. I have then used different Sizes of Oval nesting dies and backing paper from 'Winnie White winter paper pack 3 and 2. I distressed the top of the sky oval with Chipped Sapphire and the bottom with Stormy Sky distress ink and splattered with White and gold watercolour paint. I then added the Gomes and Snowman and stamped the sentiment, from the same stamp set, on to Vellum. I finally added some snowflakes and gems to complete.

Waiting For Santa - Polkadoodles

  Hi Everyone 

Today I have gone traditional with  the Christmas Colours using red and green Promarkers to colour up this adorable 'Gingerbread Holly - Waiting For Santa' Digital Image for the Digichoose day Challenge 

I have used papers from the Gingerbread Holly Paper pack 1 & 2  and a Doily. I have also printed out the sentiment 'Wishes' from the Gingerbread Holly Printable alphabet and fussy cut to add to the card. Finally I added some Die Cut Stars, pearl gems and stamped Christmas sentiment.

Gnome Bauble Fun - Polkadoodles

 
Hi everyone! 
A new Digi Choose Day challenge has begun. pop over to the challenge to get the code to get 40% of digital downloads today.

 I have created a card using 'Bauble Fun Gnome'  stamp - stamped with Momento Ink and coloured with Promarkers. I have ripped some left over scrap papers from Winnie White Winter Paper Pack, 1,2 & 3 for the background. I wrapped some twine and to complete the card white embossed the sentiment onto kraft card from the Merry and Bright Christmas Greetings - stamp set.

Witch - Alicia Bel Stamps

Hi Everyone!

Sharing today My card made using 'Sexy Witch' from AliciaBel Stamps 

I printed the image and coloured with Promarkers, I then die cut into a square. The background has been created using distress inks and masking stencils. I used Mustard Seed, Peacock Feather, Mermaid Lagoon and Black Soot. I then used my Promarkers to add crevasses on the moon, using a blending pen to fade them out.

Gnome Meet Me under the Mistletoe - Polkadoodle

Hi everyone,

A new challenge has begun over at Digi Choose Day 

For todays challenge I am sharing a rocker card using the 'Gnome Meet Me Under the Mistletoe Matchable Stamp and die set'. and the papers from the 'Happy Christmas 6x6 Paper pack' . 

To create this I folded a durable card in half and die cut just over half of the 6x6 circle die to create the base card. I then used the next size down in the circle nesting dies for the card and paper. I then die cut a full Circle and a scalloped backing card for the circle to be placed on. I then stamped the image on the white card and coloured with Promarkers. Finally I added some fussy cut embellishments form the stamp pack as well as the sentiment.

Hi Everyone!

Sharing today a card made using the image 'Lil' Tye Tiger' from Digi Doodle Studio

Printed and coloured with Promarkers and then Fussy Cut.

The papers are from Polkadoodles Printable downloads and have been die cut with Square nesting dies and backed onto black card. 

I have also die cut a black circle and with a white gel pen added some dots and stars. 

the Yum border is from my Circut maker and the Sentiments are from Time for Tea Designs.

Spider-web Gnome - Polkadoodles

 

Hi Everyone

Sharing today this adorably Gnome. This digital image is from the Trick or Treat Halloween Gnome range from Polkadoodles called 'Gnome- Spiderweb'

The image has been printed out and coloured with Nuvo Markers and then die cut using an square inverted corer die and backed it onto Orange card die cut the same but a size bigger.

For the bacground I use some orange card and with a blending Brush and Black Soot distress ink, distressed the edges and patches of the orange card. I then splattered the card with Black Soot and a black metalic water paint and set asside to dry. 

I printed and fussy cut the sentiments taken from the Halloween Trick or Treat Printable Greetings and the Halloween Trick or Treat Printable Word Art. I then die cut some Spider webs and a square piece of backing paper from the Halloween Trick or Treat printable papers bundle1

Finally I just pieced and glues the piece together.

Witch Broomstick Gnome - Polkadoodles

New Challenge has begin over at Digi Choose Day - with a new code for some savings on Digital downloads - Check it  out! 

For todays Challenge the Design team were tasked to create something for a child's Halloween party that was not a card! I created a cup holder and broomsticks using the image Witch Broomstick Halloween Gnome - from the Gnome Trick ore Treat which was coloured with Nuvo Markers and Fussy cut. I then Die cut a scalloped and Slimline piece form the Halloween Trick or Treat printable papers and a rectangle slimline piece from the and the Halloween Trick or Treat printable papers Bundle 1. I added a die cut spider web and the sentiment taken from the Halloween Trick or Treat Printable greetings

 Hi Everyone 

Sharing today a Halloween gnome - Fangtastic From Polkadodoles 

This digital image has been coloured with Nuvo Markers. and I love black and red together it is so striking! 

I have used 3 different shades of Red Tim Holts Distress ink to create the background and splattered with Black and metallic paint. Once dry I added some spiderwebs with a stencil and black distress ink. 

Finally I added a sentiment from the Trick or Treat Halloween range from Polkadoodles.

Mini Christmas Gift Box - Polkadoodles

Hi Everyone 

For my DT project this week I have created a Christmas Box. 

 I have used the stamps and dies form form Gnome Lets Get Blitzen and coloured with Poromarkers. The papers for the box was taken from 6 x 6 Happy Christmas paper pack. To complete I created a tag for the sentiment found in the same stamp and die set and tied it onto the box with some metallic/ glittery curling ribbon.

Perfect for those little treats for chistmas

Coffee and Pancakes

Hi Everyone

Sharing a DL card made using the 'stacked pancakes' digital image and 'Holiday Latte' digital image from Not 2 Shabby 

This is how i like to spend my Autumn days - hot drink and hot pancakes... hmmmm 

The images have been put together in a word document and then printed out.

I have coloured them in with Promarkers and die cut with a scalloped rectangle die backing it on to Kraft card. 

For the background I have used different shades of yellow distress ink all over the card I then used Vintage Photo distress ink and a Coffee bean and stain stencil over the top. 

Finally I added some hessian twine and backed onto Kraft card before gluing to the DL card.

Bat Gnome - Polkadoodles

Hi everyone, 

It that time of year where we are beginning to share my Spooky cards. We don't really celebrate Halloween in Wales, although we do take my son trick or treating around the family - so Halloween cards are a bit redundant - but i always like to make some Halloween themed occasion cards just like the one I have created below for the Digi Choose day Challenge 

I have created a DL card using the new Bat Gnome from the Halloween Gnome Bundle form Polkadoodles. 

The image has been coloured with Promarkers and fussy cut. 

For the background I blending 3 different distress inks, Villainous Potion, Dusty Concord and Seedless Preserves onto a scalloped DL die cut using a die cut white circle to mask off an area for the moon - I then used a cloud stencil and Black Soot distress ink to create the spooky cloud effect. to complete the background I flicked some white paint and left to dry. 

I then added the slopes with a stencil and Black Soot distress ink. to complete I die cut a sentiment from the Gnome Trick or Treat Printable Greetings set and added 2 die cut bats.

Leaving Mince Pies - Polkadoodles

 Hi everyone! 

Are you ready to get organised for the Big 'C' -I read a post on Facebook recently that said it's only  16 weeks until Christmas! that is crazy! where has the time gone, haven't we only just had Christmas! I remember a time when everything was so slow and you were just waiting for the time to tick away! 

Anyway here I am starting to get organised - I have created a clean and simple Christmas card using the image 'Leaving Mince Pies' from the Winnie White Christmas Collection for this weeks Digi Chooseday Challenge 

The image is digital and has been printed and then coloured with Promarkers. I have added the sentiment which you can purchase from the Winnie White Christmas Big Kahuna Download set. To complete I used a star stencilled in the corner with berry red Distress ink and flicked some metallic red water colour paint. masking off the main image.
